1. How will ELERTS™ improve our current emergency response system?

ELERTS™ uses smartphones, social media and our web console to provide you with a network of thousands of engaged citizens and professional 1st Responders. ELERTS™ uses smartphone technology to allow anyone to send reports with pictures who happens to be on the scene of an emergency. By making this information more accessible, interactive and information-rich ELERTS™ can improve the performance and efficiency of your emergency response systems.

2. Will ELERTS™ work with our current emergency response system?

ELERTS™ compliments and works alongside any existing emergency notification system, for example, systems in use in your dispatch center or PSAP.

3. How can my organization start using the ELERTS™ system to manage reports and notifications?

ELERTS™ Web Console is a cloud based management console that operates using any modern web browser on a Windows, Mac, iPad or other computer. No additional hardware is required. Administrators and dispatchers just log into the ELERTS™ web console. Please contact us to get a quote on using the ELERTS™ Web Console for your town or organization.

4. How do the citizens I serve get ELERTS™?

The ELERTS™ app is free and works on both the iPhone and Android operating system. It can be downloaded at the Apple or Android app stores.

5. Will the citizens of my community contribute to ELERTS™?

Yes. Citizens often have real-time information that is very valuable to 1st Responders, but have not had a way - other than 911 - to communicate that information effectively or efficiently. For example, the average traffic accident results in 25-30 911 calls. This is not an efficient use of resources, and can result in inconsistent assessments of the situation. ELERTS™ allows 1st Responders to get an accurate picture of the emergency scene, and respond quickly and appropriately.

6. Is there any filtering of the reports that come in to the ELERTS web console?

ELERTS™ 1R (First Reviewer) network can optionally filter incoming reports before they arrive at your ELERTS™ web console.

7. What kind of emergency notification is ELERTS™ appropriate for?

Everything. From weather emergencies like hurricanes, blizzards or tornados to everyday events like fender-benders. ELERTS™ also allows you to communicate to directly with citizens to relay warning messages or to help people get out of harm's way.
